Multi-Room & Whole Home Luxury Remodeling Contractors in Scottsdale, AZ

A remodel that only touches one room at a time can leave your home feeling disconnected: one space updated, the next stuck in 1995.

ArDan Construction remodels multiple rooms or your entire home as a single unified project, so every space works together rather than fighting each other.

Working From A Room That
Wasn’t Built For Work

You’ve probably already updated one room. Maybe the kitchen, maybe a bathroom. And now the rest of the house feels like it’s stuck in a different decade.

A piecemeal remodel, one room this year, another room in two years, tends to create more problems than it solves. Design decisions made in isolation don’t always match once you step back and look at the whole house. Costs creep up project by project instead of being planned once. And living through multiple separate renovations, instead of one coordinated one, means enduring the disruption of construction again and again.

Multi-room and whole-home remodeling solves this by treating your house as one connected project, planned around how your entire home functions as a whole, not just how one room looks on its own. That doesn’t mean everything has to happen at once, either. We can plan the full vision up front and build it out in phases that match your lifestyle, your timeline, and your budget, so each phase still fits into the bigger picture instead of feeling disconnected from it.

What Multi-Room & Whole Home
Remodeling Includes

One Coordinated Project, Not a Series of Disconnected Ones

Whether you’re remodeling three rooms or the entire house, the approach is the same: everything is planned together so the finishes flow, the budget is set once, and you live through construction only once instead of several times.

What a multi-room or whole-home remodel with ArDan typically covers:

  • Kitchen and adjoining living or dining spaces
  • Primary suite and additional bedrooms
  • All bathrooms in the home
  • Flooring, lighting, and finish consistency throughout
  • Structural changes, like opening up a floor plan
  • Outdoor living spaces connected to the interior flow
  • Energy efficiency and system upgrades when needed

Every one of these pieces is designed together from the start, not planned in isolation and hoped to match later.

How It Works

Our Whole Home Design-Build Process

Step 1:  In-Home Consultation

We walk your entire home, talk through your priorities room by room, and give you an honest read on scope and budget before any design work begins.

Step 2: Feasibility and Design

Our in-house design team maps out every space as a single cohesive plan, finalizing layouts, materials, and a real project price so your budget stays on track from start to finish.

Step 3: Build & Warranty

Our team builds your entire remodel on a single coordinated schedule, keeps you updated through your project portal, and backs the finished work with a 2-year warranty.

What A Whole Home Luxury Remodel Costs in Scottsdale

What to Expect on Budget and Timeline

Most whole-home remodels with ArDan fall between $500,000 and $700,000, with larger, more extensive projects ranging from $800,000 to $1.6 million, depending on square footage, scope, and finish level. Smaller multi-room projects can run lower, and we’ll give you real numbers during your feasibility consultation, not a guess.

Timeline depends on scope. A multi-room remodel touching several spaces typically takes 4 to 5 months of construction.

A full home remodel, top to bottom, can take 6 months to a year.

Before any of that construction time starts, though, we make sure every material and supply is already ordered and accounted for. That means your home isn’t sitting torn apart for two months while you wait on a window order to come in. It’s how we keep the actual construction phase, the part where your daily life is disrupted, as short as it can possibly be. Add pre-construction planning and permitting ahead of that, and the full timeline from first call to move-in runs longer, which is exactly why we walk through real dates with you before you commit to anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a multi-room remodel and a whole-home remodel?

A multi-room remodel updates several connected spaces at once, such as a kitchen, a nearby bathroom, and a living area, while a whole-home remodel redesigns the entire house as a single project. Both are planned and built as a single coordinated effort, rather than a series of separate renovations.

Most whole-home remodels with ArDan Construction range from $500,000 to $700,000, while larger, more extensive projects can reach $800,000 to $1.6 million, depending on square footage and finish level. We provide real project numbers during your feasibility consultation, based on your specific home and goals.

A single room remodel can take 1-3 months. A multi-room remodel typically takes 3-5 months of construction. A full home remodel usually runs 6 months to a year, depending on scope and complexity. Pre-construction planning and permitting add time before construction begins, and we’ll walk you through real dates specific to your project.

Remodeling your whole home at once typically produces a more cohesive result, since every space is designed together and the budget is set once rather than creeping up project by project. It also means living through construction one time instead of repeatedly. That said, some homeowners genuinely do prefer a phased approach, and we can plan multi-room projects in stages if that fits your timeline better. Another option many of our whole-home clients choose is moving out entirely during construction, either renting a place for six months to a year or staying at a second home. That lets us clear the house completely and work without interruption, which often means a faster, smoother build for everyone.

Yes. Any changes to the original blueprints of your home, structural changes, added square footage, electrical work, plumbing, or HVAC updates require permits from the City of Scottsdale or your local municipality. ArDan handles the entire permitting process as part of your design phase, so it’s accounted for in your timeline and budget from the start, rather than surfacing as a surprise mid-project.
