You've Waited Long Enough for This. Here's What It Looks Like to Do It Right.
This renovation has been on your mind for years. The kitchen that finally works the way you live.
The space that matches the life you’ve built. The home that feels like it was made for this chapter.
You deserve a team that takes that seriously, from the first conversation to the day the crew walks out the door, and long after.
THE PROMISE BEFORE THE PROCESS
Before We Talk Process, Here's Our Promise.
Common home additions we build:
A renovation at this level is one of the most significant things you’ll ever do to your home. We know that. And we know the fear that comes with it: the contractor who went quiet, the budget that ballooned, the project that dragged on past every deadline.
ArDan was built specifically to be the answer to those fears.
From the moment you reach out to the day we hand over your finished home, and for years beyond that, you will always know what’s happening, why it matters, and what to expect next. Your home will be treated as if it belongs to someone we love. And this relationship won’t end when the crew leaves.
That’s not a marketing promise. It’s the standard we’ve held for 18 years, and the reason our clients send us their friends.
THE PROMISE BEFORE THE PROCESS
A Process Built for Confidence, Not Just Construction
Most homeowners have never been through a renovation at this level. The unknowns are part of what makes it feel so daunting. Our job is to make the unknown known, at every stage, before you have to ask.
Here’s how the ArDan process works, from the very first conversation to the final walkthrough.
Phase 1:
Feasibility
We Do the Homework First
Before a single design decision is made, we do the work most contractors skip entirely. We research the permits your project will require, assess the feasibility of your vision within your home’s existing structure, and develop a detailed scope of work and an honest ballpark investment range, so you know what you’re getting into before you commit to anything.
This phase exists for one reason: to protect you from expensive surprises later. The work done here is exactly what prevents the number from changing mid-construction.
What happens in this phase:
- Initial consultation and project vision review
- Permit and feasibility research
- Detailed scope of work development
- Honest ballpark investment range, aligned with what the contract will reflect
- Design agreement, the commitment that moves us into Phase 2
What you’ll feel: Confident. You know what you’re stepping into before you take the step.
Phase 2:
Design
You’ll See It Before We Build It
This is where the vision becomes real. Our hand-selected design partners work with us to develop the full design for your project: materials, finishes, layout, fixtures, and then do something most remodelers at any price point don’t offer: we put you inside it.
Through a virtual reality walkthrough, you’ll stand in your future kitchen. Walk down your future hallway. See how the light falls in your new primary suite at the time of day you actually live there. Catch the things you’d want to change before we’ve touched a single wall.
By the time the design phase is complete, there are no surprises. Every decision has been made together. The contract number you sign reflects the scope you’ve seen, approved, and are genuinely excited about.
What happens in this phase:
- Full design development with NARI Certified remodeling partners
- Material selections, finishes, fixtures, and layout
- Virtual reality walkthrough, so you see the finished space before construction begins
- Detailed, accurate scope and final contract numbers
- Production agreement, the commitment that moves us into Phase 3
What you’ll feel: Excited and clear. The dream is visible now. And you know exactly what it’s going to cost.
Phase 3:
Production
We Build It, and You’ll Know Every Step
Construction begins, and so does the most important part of our process: communication. From day one of production through the final walkthrough, you will have more visibility into your project than most homeowners ever thought possible.
Every day, your project portal is updated with job logs and photos, so you can see exactly what happened in your home, even if you’re in California or on the East Coast. When milestones are hit, we meet to walk through them. When something shifts, and in any remodel, things sometimes do, you hear it from us first, clearly and early, with a plan already in place.
Your home is treated with the same care throughout construction as it was before we arrived. Blue tape, protective film, zip walls, and air filters protect your belongings and the untouched areas of your home every single day, not just the first one.
What happens in this phase:
- Active construction managed by a dedicated Project Manager and Superintendent
- Daily job logs with photos via the Buildertrend client portal
- Scheduled milestone meetings throughout the build
- Proactive communication when timelines or scope shift, never reactive
- Meticulous job site protection throughout the entire project
- Final walkthrough and project handover
What you’ll feel: Calm and in control, even in the middle of dust and decisions. You always know what’s happening and what comes next.
THE MOMENTS THAT MATTER
It's the Small Things That Build the Big Trust
A renovation relationship isn’t built in the big moments alone. It’s built in the dozens of small ones, the interactions that happen before construction starts, and the ones that happen long after it ends. Here’s what those look like with ArDan.
The follow-up email that arrives the same day as your first call.
Not in three days. Not next week. The same day. Because the way we treat your time in the first conversation is exactly the way we’ll treat it for the next 12 months.
The sales team that shows up on time, every time.
It sounds basic. It isn’t. We know that every appointment we keep is a promise we’re proving we can keep.
The ballpark number that actually matches the contract.
One of the most common horror stories in remodeling is the estimate that grows by 30% before you ever break ground. At ArDan, the work we do in Phase 1 exists specifically to prevent that. The number you hear early and the number you sign are in the same neighborhood, by design.
The VR walkthrough where it becomes real.
There’s a moment in the design phase that clients consistently describe as the turning point, when they put on the headset and walk through the space they’ve been imagining for years. It’s not just a design tool. It’s the moment the dream becomes something you can touch.
The mid-project conversation you didn't have to initiate.
In any significant renovation, things shift. Materials get delayed. A wall reveals something unexpected. A better option becomes available. When that happens at ArDan, you hear about it from us first, with context, a plan, and enough time to make a real decision. Never a surprise. Never an afterthought.
The day the crew leaves, the space is spotless.
The last day of a project should feel like a celebration, not a cleanup operation. When ArDan finishes, we leave your home the way we’d want someone to leave ours.
The final walkthrough.
This is the moment everything was building toward. You walk through your finished home, the kitchen you designed together, the spaces that finally fit the way you live, and it’s better than you imagined. We’ve watched families stand in their renovated homes and go quiet for a moment, just taking it in. That moment is what we build everything for.
After The Project Ends
We’re Not Going Anywhere
The day we hand over your finished home is one of our favorite days. It’s also just the beginning of a different kind of relationship.
ArDan offers a two-year workmanship warranty on every project, not as a fine-print formality, but as a genuine commitment. If something isn’t right, we come back, and we make it right. That’s what the warranty means here.
But the warranty is just the floor. What we actually do is stay in your life. A photo book at your one-year anniversary capturing the transformation. Holiday gifts that arrive because we genuinely think about our clients long after the project ends. A check-in call when we’re thinking about you. An invitation to client events because you’re part of the ArDan community now, not just a completed project in our portfolio.
We have clients who finished their projects years ago and still call, not because they have to, but because the relationship is real. We have clients who have sent us three and four referrals because they want the people they care about to have the same experience they did.
That’s the standard we hold ourselves to. Not just a beautiful renovation, but a relationship worth keeping.
What the post-project experience includes:
- Two-year workmanship warranty
- One-year anniversary photo book documenting the transformation
- Holiday client appreciation gifts
- Client events and touchpoints throughout the year
- Ongoing relationship with the ArDan team; we’re always a phone call away
WHO WE ARE FOR
ArDan Is Built for a Specific Kind of Homeowner
We’ve spent 18 years getting better at one thing: creating an exceptional remodeling experience for homeowners who are ready to do this right. That specificity is intentional, and it means ArDan is the right fit for some clients and genuinely not the right fit for others.
Here’s how to know if we’re your team.
- This is for you if:
- You’ve been planning this renovation for years, and you’re finally ready to invest in doing it the right way
- You want a team that manages the entire process- design, construction, and everything in between- under one roof
- Clear communication, real transparency, and a team that treats your home with care matter more to you than finding the lowest bid
- You’re investing in a home you intend to live in and love for decades, not a quick flip or a cosmetic refresh
- You want to know what’s happening at every stage, even if you’re managing this from out of state
- You don’t live here full-time, and you want your second home to feel like a luxury retreat when you arrive, without needing to be in town to manage the project yourself
- This probably isn't the right fit if:
- You’re primarily shopping for the lowest price and comparing bids on cost alone
- You’re looking to supply your own materials or manage your own subcontractors
- Your project involves insurance claim work or correcting another contractor’s mistakes
If you’re in the first group, we’d love to talk. If you’re in the second,
we’ll tell you honestly, and we might be able to point you in a better direction.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the ArDan process take from first call to final walkthrough?
It depends on scope, but every project moves through the same three phases: Pre-Construction, Design, and Production. Smaller projects like a single bathroom might move through all three in a few months. A whole-home remodel or addition takes longer. We’ll walk through a realistic timeline specific to your project during your initial consultation.
Why does ArDan do a Pre-Construction phase before design even begins?
Because it’s what prevents the number you agreed to from changing once construction starts. Permit research, feasibility, and scope development happen before any design work, so the ballpark investment range we give you is grounded in reality, not a guess we correct later.
What is the VR walkthrough, and is it included in every project?
The VR walkthrough lets you stand inside your finished space- kitchen, primary suite, hallway- before a single wall comes down, including how natural light falls at the time of day you actually live there. It’s part of our standard design process, not an upgrade.
How will I know what's happening in my home during construction, especially if I'm out of state?
Your project portal is updated daily with job logs, photos, and videos through Buildertrend, so you can check in on your own schedule from anywhere. Milestone meetings and proactive updates mean you hear about any changes from us first, with a plan already attached.
What happens if something needs attention after the project is finished?
Every ArDan project includes a two-year workmanship warranty. If something isn’t right, we come back and make it right. Beyond the warranty, our relationship with clients continues well past project completion, including a one-year anniversary photo book and ongoing check-ins.
