Hillcrest Ranch Master Bath

Bathroom Remodel

Grand Entry With Barn Doors

Our client’s ranch master bath started as a basic builder layout. They imagined something dramatic, so we began by installing double barn doors at the suite entrance. The doors frame the room, add privacy, and match the rustic style of their ranch home. Inside the bath, a second barn door slides to reveal his closet; when closed, it highlights floating display shelves.

Curbless Shower as Centerpiece

Immediately, your eye moves to the clear glass shower door framed in black iron grids. This bold detail anchors the design. Behind the door, white subway tile lines the walls, while Calacatta Gold mini-brick marble accents fill the niche. We removed the curb, creating a zero-entry shower that feels larger and safer. A sliced-pebble floor adds subtle texture underfoot.

Warm Cabinetry and Concrete-Tone Counters

To replace the stock vanity, we chose KraftMaid Vantage furniture-style cabinets in the Lyndale door profile. The maple molasses stain warms the mostly light palette and brings depth to the ranch master bath. Above the cabinetry, Metropolis Grey quartz from Arizona Tile mimics smooth concrete, balancing modern and industrial notes. White rectangular undermount sinks keep the lines clean.

Floor Tile With Quiet Flair

For the flooring, we laid 12 × 24 Dal-Tile Delegate off-white porcelain in a herringbone pattern. Although the neutral tone blends with the walls, the angled layout adds movement without visual clutter.

Finishing Touches

Matte-black fixtures repeat the shower’s grid motif, and soft-white LED lighting sets a relaxing mood for evening soaks. Because every material was selected to complement the next, the finished space feels cohesive and calm.

A Fresh Take on Classic Style

This remodel proves that careful planning and quality details can elevate any ranch master bath. The new space blends rustic charm with modern convenience, giving the homeowners a luxurious retreat they will enjoy for years.

I would highly recommend ArDan to any family, friend that is looking to do a remodel. It doesn't take long to see that they're a company built on integrity.
