New Whole-Home Renovation in North Scottsdale

We recently began a whole-home renovation in North Scottsdale for a client moving from Troon North to a lively, water‑lined neighborhood near the greenbelt and great coffee spots. The house offers two bedrooms, two baths, and a tidy yard, yet its dated style needs a full refresh to match the owner’s vibrant taste.

Current Layout and Challenges

Right now, a wall splits the kitchen from the dining room, and the primary bath feels cramped. While the location is perfect, the finishes and flow do not fit our client’s lifestyle.

Planned Changes for the Whole‑Home Renovation in North Scottsdale

First, we will demo the dividing wall to create an open kitchen‑dining hub. Next, we will swap dated cabinets for modern, full‑height units and shift appliances to improve traffic flow. In the living area, a new furniture layout will frame outside views better. For the primary bath, we will remove the tub and install a curbless shower with slip‑resistant tile, sleek fixtures, and built‑in seating—an eye‑catcher that also boosts safety. Updated vanities and brighter lighting will complete the spa feel.

Client Vision and Design Choices

Our client loves bold accents and airy rooms. She picked warm white walls, matte‑black hardware, and quartz counters with subtle veining. Wide‑plank flooring in a light oak tone will tie spaces together, while a patterned backsplash will add personality in the kitchen. Because she values durability, we sourced finishes that handle desert heat and daily wear.

What Happens Next
