North Scottsdale Whole-Home Renovation Update

Our North Scottsdale whole‑home renovation has reached its midpoint, and, as a result, the changes are easy to see. Below, you will find a brief look at the work completed so far and what comes next.

Open Layout and Fresh Surfaces

First, we stripped the rooms to the studs. Next, we installed new drywall, tough vinyl floors, and low‑odor paint. Because we removed the wall between the kitchen and dining area, the home now feels larger and brighter.

Bathrooms and Living Room

Meanwhile, both baths sit at rough‑in stage. The main bath will soon feature a walk‑in shower with a flat entry, a simple linear drain, and non‑slip tile. In the living room, our crew sanded and stained the ceiling beams. As a result, character remains while glare drops. In addition, we reopened small clerestory windows to bring in steady daylight.

HVAC and Summer Comfort

Earlier, we rerouted ducts to improve air flow. Now, new returns and sealed joints help the system work with less strain. Energy‑rated windows arrive next week; once installed, they will keep out even more heat.

Client‑Chosen Finishes

So far, every finish reflects the owner’s taste. She picked white walls, deep‑blue cabinets, gold hardware, and a bright terrazzo backsplash. Furthermore, dimmable LEDs let her switch from task light to soft glow in seconds.

The Road Ahead

Soon, cabinets and quartz tops will land. After that, we will set trim, touch up paint, and lay floor transitions. Barring surprises, the punch list will wrap by late July.
